Widyaretna received a PhD in Law after defending her dissertation on medicine counterfeiting from Pelita Harapan University, she also holds a Bachelor in Law from the University of Indonesia and a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from Prasetiya Mulya Business School, Jakarta.
With her corporate career forged in Pfizer for over 15 years, Widya brings valuable experience, in-depth knowledge and a strong network in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. She served as Public Affairs and Communications Director from 2011 – 2017 and was the Legal Director from 2002 – 2011.
She was responsible for building relationships and partnerships with government, communities and associations and exploring external opportunities to support the business and was the key spokesperson for Pfizer in dealing with media and external stakeholders.
Widya is also the chairwoman of Indonesian Anti-Counterfeiting Society since 2008. She is also an active contributor to Indonesia largest online news portal Tribunnews.
